What exactly are you trying to tell me?

(Spinneys, Dubai)

This is obviously a store sponsored promotion not approved by the Kraft brand team. Bad news: not sure this is really going to get sales to peak. Good news: the alternative prize the sales force had considered was a session of liposuction - the overwhelming majority, however, felt the treadmill was more "aspirational".

Next month check out the snacks aisle where you've got a chance to win a free cholesterol check with every Butterlicious pack of microwaveable popcorn you buy.

i think they're trying to tell u that you could win a treadmill if you purchase a kraft product. it's simple really...the promise of winning a treadmill will encourage people to buy. I think it's ingenious.

No Jorge. I think you're missing Adman's point. Treadmill implies fitness. Butter and cheese (granted they're branded as light)imply gluttony. So yeah, you could win a treadmill but what's the connection really.

You guys are stupid. I'm all for this kind of advertising. Do you think if i went to the Durex aisle and bought a pack of condoms they'd put me in a draw for a nice blonde Estonian?? I'll take it.

Jorge: No, it's not ingenious.

Roberto: Exactly.

Nebu: A bit chauvinistic, but if you hear of a promotion like the one you mention please make sure you let me know (purely to put on my blog of course).
